Welcome to visit one of the best Magic Conventions in the world! Don't only take our words for it. Year after year, artists and visitors alike tell us how much they appreciate our shows, lectures and activities and the convenient format with everything well organized under the same roof. This year it is no surprise that we continue the winning concept (for the 27th consecutive year) and we keep on surprising ourselves by bringing so many World Champions and top talents to Lund. We are very proud to be able to present three of the very best contemporary card magicians under true Close Up Conditions to the delegates who register first (the others will see the show in the theatre with video support).

2013-02-14 Crash Course in Magic. Bland annat för dig som besöker Magic Weekend för första gången erbjuder vi en introduktionskurs i trolleri fredag 4 oktober kl 15-18, med erfarna instruktörerna Leif Olberius och Erik Nordvall.

2013-02-12 Gycklaren Magic Marketing AB har övertagit varumärket Magic Weekend från Scandinavian Magic Dealers Association. Parterna har kommit överens om att den avtalade ersättningen för detta skall ges som gåva till SMDA:s Stipendiefond, som delar ut stipendier till unga magiker. För Magic Weekends del innebär avtalet inga väsentliga förändringar och den magiska mässan på kongressen kommer även i fortsättningen att innehålla samma utställare som 2012.
2013-01-30 Dani DaOrtiz is booked to do an exclusive lecture and to perform in the Close Up Show. He will also conduct a Private Workshop, Sunday afternoon, when the convention itself is over. Surprise!
2012-12-12 Grand Prix Winner Stage Magic from FISM WCM 2012 Yu Ho-Jin will perform his award winning act in the gala show. Surprise!

Arbetet med Magic Weekend 4-6 oktober 2013 har redan börjat och nån gång i början av nästa år publicerar vi hela programmet och öppnar för anmälningar. (De som var med i år kommer att få information per e-post före alla andra!)

2012-09-01 Vi har tyvärr sett ett ökande antal trollkarlar som dyker upp i baren i Lund, för att ta del av det sociala livet, umgås med kongressdeltagare och artister mm, men utan att bidra till kostnaderna genom att lösa kongresskort. Vi har därför, i likhet med de flesta andra internationella kongresser, tvingats att begränsa rätten att vistas i baren och andra lokaler som hyrts av kongressen, till de som innehar kongresskort.
